BBBS is a fullfledged BBS system which
incorporates all of your needs for setting up your own BBS. It contains full
FidoNet and Internet support. FidoNet messages and Internet news and email are
embedded together with a versatile online message reading system with offline
reading support. File system is based on a directory structure, and can use
existing descript.ion files as used by 4DOS and 4OS/2. BBBS has 10 internal protocols, for example
HYDRA, Zmodem, Kermit and Xmodem. You can add up to 250 external protocols and
packers. BBBS is easy to customize to suit every need imaginable. It is configurable
also from the user's point of view. There are hundreds of 3rd party utilities
available, mostly coded with BBBS's C-alike script language.

EleBBS is an RemoteAccess compatible BBS program - this means that most of the doors and utilities you could use with RemoteAccess, you now can also use with EleBBS, but EleBBS offers far more. Below is a list of all the EleBBS features:

Maximus is one of the
finest bulletin board packages available for MSDOS, WinNT/Win95,
or OS/2 Warp based systems. In addition to Maximus, the most
recent version of "Squish", the echomail processor, are
available on the FTP site.

RemoteAccess: ![]()
RemoteAccess is very popular BBS
host based on Adam Hudson's QuickBBS. It was originally written
by Andrew Milner working for Wantree Software. Bruce Morse (1:324/122)
bought the rights to RemoteAccess from Andrew in 97/98, and has
released new versions since. This has re-spawned programming
sysops to knock out hundreds of third party utilities. It can
have up to 10 FTN addresses defined, and can work in conjunction
with a Front-End-Mailer, and Message Tosser
